HomeBuilder Grant Extended in Victoria

by Carlisle Homes

If you have not yet taken advantage of the Federal Government's $25,000 HomeBuilder Grant, we have good news. This has now been extended to allow homeowners until 30 June 2021 to commence construction and still be eligible for the grant. But you still need to act fast to ensure your contract is signed by the 31 December 2020 cut-off - this date has NOT been extended.

The revised HomeBuilder Grant now allows you to claim the grant if you start construction within 6 months of signing your contract (that is double the amount of time which was initially 3 months).

If you are an owner-occupier and planning on building a new home for less than $750,000 (including land), now is the perfect time to get in touch with us at Carlisle Homes. We have plenty of house and land packages in this price bracket and we are ready to get started on your dream home.

The HomeBuilder Grant finishes on 31 December 2020. Contracts signed on 31 December 2020 now have until 30 June 2021 to commence construction, but site start availability is running out fast, so don’t miss out, register today to get moving and score yourself a handy $25,000.

And don’t forget, if you are a first home owner, you may also be eligible for the $10,000 Victorian First Home Buyer scheme. For more information call 13 27 67 and speak to one of our friendly staff or visit the Victorian Government’s website for further information.
