Will I be kept up to date with the build of my new home?

Yes! We prioritise the happiness and satisfaction of our customers above all else. As such, we have developed our own Carlisle Connect portal. Carlisle Connect is an interactive digital tool that lets us put the entire build process directly at your fingertips.

It enables you to monitor the process of your build as it unfolds. For instance, you can ensure that the rumpus room looks the way you always imagined it to as we go through the building process! Our tool also includes access to user guides, warranties and manuals, and you can even access your financial milestones during every phase of the build.

How long does it take to build one of Carlisle Homes’ affordable house plans from scratch?

Carlisle Homes does its best to ensure that every step of the process is straightforward and transparent to our clients. Typically, it will take an average of 7-10 months to work through the building process from start to finish. Three phases are included in the building of our house plans:

1. The pre-site phase
2. The construction phase
3. The warranty phase

The pre-site phase is the finalising of your house plans. During this time, you can choose the look and finishes you think will best fit your new home. You may also be asked to sign some official documents during this period. In the meantime, our team will acquire any necessary loan approvals and permits.

The next phase, construction, lasts between 16-24 weeks. You can monitor this process through Carlisle Connect, and you can expect to have the keys to your new home in your hand by the end.

Finally, the warranty phase begins. As you move into this next stage of home ownership, we put you in charge of the warranty process with the introduction of our new Home Care App.

Our Home Care app enables you to raise any warranty requests you may have, at a time and place that suits you. Use your computer or your smart device to submit items with photos so we can guide you through the warranty process.

There’s no need to make an appointment. No pressure to remember all your questions at once. Use the portal at any time you wish, from 14 days after handover of your new home.

Am I eligible for Carlisle Homes’ knockdown rebuild?

It depends. We build our custom house plans in all suburbs within the Melbourne and Geelong area, but our knockdown rebuild services are limited to particular suburbs. Check out our service area guide and input your postal code to determine your eligibility.
