Bliss and Nathan: A Catch-Up With Our 10,000th Customers

As we celebrate our 15,000^th Carlisle home, we revisit Bliss and Nathan, who received the keys to our 10,000^th home back in late 2019

It’s been a monumental month for the team at Carlisle Homes, as we handed over the keys to Raj, Bhupinder and their two delightful sons, who are now the proud owners of our 15,000^th home. Coming off the back of being named Australian Professional Major Builder 2023 in the prestigious HIA Awards, there’s been plenty to celebrate!

As we enjoy these very special moments in Carlisle’s journey, we thought it would be lovely to revisit Bliss and Nathan, who were our 10,000^th home customers back in 2019, and see what life has been like since they moved into their dream home (spoiler alert: it’s no longer just the two of them!)

Just a few years ago, the young couple were living in a small townhouse and dreaming of a beautiful, spacious home where they could begin the next stage of their lives. Working with Carlisle’s Client Liaison Executive Kelly Cecere, they fell in love with a luxurious single storey design from our Affinity Collection.

After a thoroughly enjoyable time choosing all the colours, finishes, appliances and extras for their new home at our Spectra Showroom and a stress-free build under the stewardship of Carlisle’s Construction Supervisor Mark Pigatto, Bliss and Nathan moved into their gorgeous new house in September 2019 – and officially became the owners of our 10,000^th home!

At the time Bliss said; “The process has been great from start to finish – the best part for me was picking all the colours for the home.” Nathan added; “Kelly helped us choose the most beautiful home and was so friendly and open to any questions we had throughout.”

Construction Supervisor Marc also got special mention; “Marc was phenomenal, always ringing us, telling us what was happening with the build, and meeting us on-site,” said Nathan. For the Carlisle team who is lucky enough to work with Marc, these words come as no surprise; “I build all Carlisle homes as if they are my own,” says Marc. “Quality is the number one thing – I want all our clients to walk in and feel ecstatic with their new house.”

And ecstatic was certainly something Bliss and Nathan felt from the moment they moved in; “We lived in a small townhouse prior to moving into our Carlisle home so we absolutely love the spacious open-plan living,” said Bliss at the time. “The Daintree Facade is another one of my favourite things about our home.”

The happy couple wasted no time planning a big at-home celebration for their loved ones, hosting a Christmas lunch for their entire family in December 2019.

Since then, their new home has been a haven of comfort and calm through all manner of major life events. “We spent most of 2020 and 2021 in lockdown,” she says. “Living in a beautiful brand-new home made this time bearable, and it also gave us the chance to finish our front and backyard.”

But it was a very special announcement last June that was the absolute highlight; “The most cherished milestone celebrated in our home with our families was our gender reveal in June 2022 when we found out we would be welcoming a baby boy,” says Bliss.

Just before last Christmas, the couple proudly welcomed little Easton into their home and their lives. They couldn’t be more excited to watch him grow in the dream home they’ve created. “We were able to create a beautiful bedroom for him with a spacious play area right next to his bedroom. Easton will also be lucky enough to have a large backyard to play in as he gets older,” says Bliss.

So what’s next on the agenda for the busy young family? “We hope to continue growing our family within the next few years,” says Bliss. And with plenty of room to spread out, a great backyard, and light-filled, flexible living spaces, they know they’re in the right place to do it!
