It’s one of four beautiful Carlisle display homes at Jubilee Estate in Wyndham Vale – all of which have just had a gorgeous design makeover with brand-new colours and furnishings, so come and take a look!
We chatted with the creative team behind the Granada Grand 40 – Carlisle’s Senior Designer Ricky D’Alesio and Interior Designer Jessica Hodges – to discover what makes this home so special.
What makes Granada Grand 40 so appealing to families?
“Everything about the four-bedroom, two-bathroom Granada Grand 40 has been designed with families in mind,” says D’Alesio. “There are four separate living areas where you can spend time together or entertain separately, an open-plan gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry that connects effortlessly to the main living, meals and alfresco area, and clever features throughout that make day-to-day living more convenient, like a separate study at the front of the house where you won’t be disturbed by family activity, a laundry that can double as a mud room, and linen closets on both levels.
“Upstairs, you’ll be greeted with a spectacular master suite at the front of the house, a huge walk-in robe that’s big enough to use as a dressing room, and an opulent ensuite. Depending on the façade you choose, you can even have your own private balcony.
“The kids will be spoilt for choice when it comes to space and amenities. There’s a vast, dedicated kids’ zone at the rear of the house with its own lounge, a big, built-in study area, three extra-large bedrooms, each with a walk-in robe, and a beautiful, shared bathroom,” he says.
What block size does the Granada Grand 40 suit?
“This home has been specially designed for long, fairly narrow blocks measuring 12.5 x 29 metres,” says D’Alesio.
What are some of your favourite features in the Granada Grand 40?
“I love the versatility of the downstairs rumpus room,” says D’Alesio. “It’s located in the centre of the floorplan and can easily be converted to a media room for family movie nights, a home gym or yoga space.
“I also like how the garage has direct access to the laundry. Features like this can be a great help for families with kids who play a lot of sport. The laundry can double as a mud room where the kids can pull off their muddy footy boots and sports gear bags without bringing them into the rest of the house.
“Another feature I adore is the beautiful, feature staircase, which is located next to the formal lounge in the middle of the house. With its dramatic u-shape design and open treads, it really adds to the airy and open feel of the entire ground floor.
“The master suite is another standout. It's large in size at 4.6 x 5 metres, and there’s a lovely bedhead detail where the wall pops out 90 millimetres, which has been lined in a gorgeous, contrasting wallpaper. And the room is filled with light thanks to the sliding glass doors to the private balcony. It’s quite breathtaking,” he says.
Which facade does the Granada Grand 40 at Jubilee feature?
“The Breeze facade, which is a real customer favourite,” says D’Alesio. “Simple and timeless, the Breeze features generous glazing, a beautiful balcony, and a rendered finish on the upper level contrasted with brick on the lower level.”
How is the Granada Grand 40 decorated?
“We’ve just refreshed the interior to bring it right up to date with current trends – take a look around and you’ll get loads of inspiration and some brilliant decorating ideas for your new home!” says Hodges.
“We’ve used a gentle and cocooning mix of earthy tones like putty, soft grey and greige, mixed with pops of soft pastels and some beautiful, patterned wallpapers. For the furniture, we’ve chosen pieces in warm oak and cotton and linen upholstery, with curvaceous lines that invite you to sink in.”
“The result is a wonderfully relaxing home with sanctuary-like vibes – coastal, but with added comfort and luxury,” she says.
