If you can’t get past the look of a modern, shaker-style kitchen, you’re sure to love our Como kitchen and butler’s pantry – which are a timeless and sophisticated blend of creamy white joinery, soft grey Caesarstone benchtops, and pops of marble and brass. There’s space to spread out and store all your cooking essentials, pull up a couple of bar stools for a chat with friends and family, and high-performance appliances that will help you cook up a storm.

Make an appointment to visit our Spectra Showroom and see the Como kitchen and pantry for yourself. They’re among four full-size kitchens and two-full size butler’s pantries on display, giving you the perfect opportunity to see how your dream kitchen might look.

In the meantime, here are the main elements you’ll need to recreate the look of the Como kitchen and walk-in pantry in your own home.

Cabinetry

Creamy white joinery with touches of grey will make your kitchen and butler’s pantry feel bright, open and welcoming – with a hint of refinement. We’ve used Laminex FormWrap in Ghostgum, with the classic Settler door profile on the base cabinets and 1-Pane Square glazed profile overhead to introduce a touch of light-enhancing glass.

To add depth to the walk-in pantry, we’ve added a contrasting splash of mid-tone grey on the full-length pantry doors –Laminex FormWrap in Tornado. Beside them, we’ve used Laminex Blackened Elm in a soft, textural Chalk finish on the open shelves.

Sleek, minimalist joinery handles in brushed brass from Hafele bring a sophisticated, contemporary edge to both the kitchen and pantry.

Benchtops

Caesarstone benchtops in Cloudburst Concrete, with their soft swirls of pure white against a pale greige background, echo the on-trend look of concrete, while adding texture and movement to the kitchen and butler’s pantry.

Splashback

A statement splashback instantly draws the eye in a kitchen, acting almost like a piece of art. In the Como kitchen and butler’s pantry, we’ve chosen Beaumont Tiles’ Herringbone Brazilia Grey Polished Mosaic tiles, which create the luxurious look of marble laid in an eye-catching pattern.  

Decorative lighting

Practical downlights in the kitchen illuminate benchtops so you can safely cook and prep meals. For a little glamour – and to draw people towards the central hub of your kitchen – we’ve added a trio of simple and striking Lucent 160mm pendants in Brass/Alabaster over the island.

Appliances

If you enjoy cooking and entertaining, you’ll want quality appliances you can rely on. In our Como kitchen and butler’s pantry, we’ve installed two 600mm ovens in sleek stainless steel and black side by side, giving you the flexibility to cook multiple dishes at once as well as easy access to the oven interiors.

A chef-quality five-burner gas cooktop in sleek black glass (Technika TGC9GLBK Professional Series Black Glass cooktop) harmonises with the look of the ovens and gives you plenty of room to have multiple pots on the go. A concealed stainless-steel rangehood (Technika TGU90BK Concealed Professional Series rangehood) discreetly and efficiently removes smoke and cooking odours.

An integrated dishwasher (Technika TDX8SS-6 Home Collection Integrated dishwasher) is concealed neatly behind the cabinetry, while a chic, stainless-steel microwave (Technika WD905-2 Home Collection microwave) provides cooking backup.

Sink & tap

The tap is an opportunity to add a little glam to your kitchen. In our Como kitchen, we’ve opted for an elegant, brass gooseneck mixer tap (Vito Bertoni 85358 Nuova Calare sink mixer in Matte Brass) to tie in with the joinery handles. A crisp, white undermount double sink (Oliveri ST-WH1563U Santorini Undermount Double Bowl Sink) completes the set-up.

For the butler’s pantry, we’ve specified a chic matt black mixer tap (Phoenix VS733MB Vivid Slimline in Matte Black) with a space-savvy, single-bowl sink (Santorini ST-WH1550U Large Bowl Undermount Sink) – practical, without swallowing up too much space.
