by Carlisle Homes
With a double storey atrium and plenty of room to spread out, our new Rothbury Grand Atrium 46 will take your breath away.
Prepare to be impressed – our brand-new Rothbury Grand Atrium 46 display home at Meridian Estate in Clyde North is a stunner, with a double storey void in the rear living area that floods the space with natural light, multiple places to relax, and a designer kitchen that’s made for entertaining. The perfect balance of practical and aspirational, it’s guaranteed to take your breath away!
Here, Carlisle Homes’ Senior Designer Shane Rogers and Interior Design Manager Jessica Hodges give us a sneak peek inside this gorgeous home.
All about light and space
“The Rothbury is a very special home,” says Rogers. “We’ve featured atriums in entries for years, but this is the first time we’ve added one to the main living area at the rear of the house. Combined with well-placed windows, it creates the most spectacular, light-filled open-plan living area with an incredible sense of space – it’s a joy to be in.”
A designer kitchen made for entertaining
“The kitchen is the heart of today’s home, particularly if you love to entertain, and the Rothbury really delivers,” says Rogers. “It features a designer kitchen in rich timber tones, with a huge kitchen island at the centre where you can prep meals, serve up or dine. The adjoining butler’s pantry is big enough to accommodate a separate dishwasher, sink, loads of bench space and storage – so you can do all your messy prep work here and keep the kitchen clean and clear when guests are over.”
Ideal for buyers at different life stages
This spacious home will suit many types of buyers. “It’s great for families with older children as it features two separate living areas downstairs (one of which can double as a theatre room), four spacious bedrooms, each with a walk-in ’robe, a large kids’ activity area where they can watch TV or hang out with friends, and a built-in study zone. It’s also a smart buy for younger families who want a home that will grow with them,” he says.
“It’s ideal for older buyers too as it has that wow-factor, a larger-than-average powder room, and provides comfortable accommodation for guests.”
Sumptuous styling
“With a soaring ceiling above the open-plan living, meal and kitchen area, spectacular natural light and five-star hotel vibes, the Rothbury Grand Atrium 46 is all about luxury, so it was only fitting that we decorate it with our Luxe interior theme,” says Hodges.
“The amount of natural light meant we could go with richer timber joinery and darker furnishings, which gives the home a real sense of sophistication and opulence. One of the first things you see when you enter the home is an incredible feature wall in walnut and stone – it instantly sets the tone for the rest of the space,” she says.
“We’ve used a beautiful, dark stone-look laminate in the study to create a cosy and cocooning feel to help you concentrate when you’re working from home, and punches of colour and texture in the furnishings throughout, such as caramel velvets in the lounge, and petrol blue dining chairs. It’s warm, luxurious, comfortable – and simply breathtaking!” she says.
