We get it – with so many big decisions to make, choosing the colours, finishes and appliances for your new home can feel daunting. Which is why we created a state-of-the-art showroom that has been specially designed to make the process easy and enjoyable.
The incredible new 2,500-square-metre Spectra Selection Centre, located at our head office in Mulgrave allows you to view and select from over 3,500 materials, fixtures, fittings, and appliances from leading Australian and global brands. To help you choose with confidence, you’ll also find Carlisle’s latest interior and exterior design trends on display, alongside informative displays on complex topics such as heating and cooling, plus easy-to-use digital tools so you can see and save your selections at a glance.
From there, you navigate through nine distinct areas, each tailored to highlight a different facet of home living: designer kitchens, appliances, interior selections, bathrooms, flooring, lighting and electrical, exterior choices, windows and doors, and sustainable living.
This unique 'inside-out' layout begins with the heart of the home – the kitchen – and progresses through to exterior finishes, mirroring the way you truly experience and personalize your living space. This structured journey simplifies the process of creating a cohesive visual identity for your new home.
Throughout, you can explore every aspect of home design, from four full-scale kitchen setups and eleven bathroom displays showcasing the latest appliances and finishes, to a wide array of over 120 light fixtures and more than 70 door designs. Additionally, informative demonstrations illustrate the energy efficiency benefits of insulation, heating, cooling, and double-glazed solutions.

You can now explore our full range of finishes and fixtures all in one place with our brand-new Spectra Online tool. Whether you’re starting your new home journey or ready to move ahead with your home selections, this fantastic, easy-to-use tool makes viewing our wide range of quality home finishes and fixtures a breeze.
Featuring our complete range of external, internal and electrical product offerings, the Spectra Online tool allows you to browse, select favourites, and build a list of potential selections.
Once you’ve chosen your favourites, you can then submit them directly to your Spectra Consultant, who will walk you through your selections in more detail at your next appointment. It’s as easy as that.

At each stage of the journey, expert Spectra Colour consultants are available to help you make the right decision, utilising special layout tables to create evocative mood boards that bring the materials to life and make it easy to visualise your finished home. An even more personalised service is offered in private appointment meeting rooms in the showroom’s ‘quiet zone’ or at appointment consultation desks, designed specifically for architectural and electrical planning. Skilled designers then create detailed plans and specifications for you from the creative office space at the centre of the showroom.
Need a little breathing space? We’ve included spaces where you can step away and grab a coffee, sit and think through your options or attend to your children’s needs, including a café, relaxing lounge areas, a fully-equipped parent's room and a kid's entertainment zone.
Cutting-edge digital technologies enhance the experience further. Throughout the showroom, Spectra Digital Kiosks, complete with integrated information panels and videos, offer inspiration on more than 85 topics. You can interact with these digital screens and use the supplied iPads to create individual online profiles where you can save your favourite images and products, enabling a smoother and more integrated selection process.

How can I prepare for my appointment?

When is the best time to visit the Spectra Showroom?
At the beginning of the home building process your appointed Client Liaison Executive (CLE) will contact you to make a time for your tour and for your Spectra Showroom appointment. The appointment is when you’ll meet with your professional design consultant to make final decisions on your new home’s interior and exterior colours, floor coverings, surface finishes, bathroom, kitchen, laundry fixtures, electrical, lighting – and more!
How long will my Spectra Showroom appointment take?
Your Spectra Showroom appointment can take a full day to complete, so we recommend organising time away from work and co-ordinating the pick-up of children from school. If you have toddlers, don’t worry, the Spectra Showroom has a dedicated playroom to keep them entertained.
Will someone be there to help me?
You will be assigned a professional design consultant to guide you through the Spectra Showroom experience, assist with your selections, discuss colour palettes and review your lifestyle needs. They will also take you through your electrical plan and help you select your electrical and lighting options.
Should I bring food and drinks?
This is a special day and we want you to be able to focus, so we provide a fully catered lunch for you to enjoy. Your Client Liaison Executive will send a list of lunch options prior to your appointment for you to choose from. We also offer tea, coffee and water throughout the day.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking available for our customers in our private car park. There is also public transport access if you or any of your family isn’t able to drive to your appointments.
Can we access wi-fi?
Yes, free wi-fi is available at our Spectra Showroom for your leisure and use. Simply connect to the Carlisle Guest wi-fi network on your arrival.
Should I bring the kids?
We are a kid-friendly environment. While you’re browsing through the Spectra Showroom your children can enjoy our playroom.
