We’ve Just Handed Over Our 15,000th Home – So, Come On In!

It’s official! We’ve just handed over the keys to our 15,000^th Carlisle home! Meet the wonderful family now living the dream in this very special home.

Drumroll, please! We’ve officially handed over the keys to our 15,000^th home – an incredible milestone for the Carlisle team that we’re all proud to celebrate!

It’s the icing on the cake of a truly amazing year for Carlisle Homes, having recently won our industry’s biggest award – Australian Professional Major Builder 2023 in the prestigious Housing Industry Association Awards.

“It feels like only yesterday that we hit our 10,000 homes milestone – and that was before the pandemic and the challenges that came with it. I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Raj, Bhupinder and their family for being the proud owners of our 15,000^th home – and for choosing Carlisle to be part of this very special moment in your lives,” says John Doulgeridis, Managing Director of Carlisle Homes.

We’re delighted to introduce you to Raj, Bhupinder and their two sons, who are the very special customers who call our spectacular 15,000^th property their home.

Raj and Bhupinder’s journey started when they purchased a block of land in Smiths Lane Estate, Clyde North, to build their dream home. With two growing boys, the single-storey home they were living in was stretching at the seams, and they wanted more space and a big backyard.

They chose Carlisle Homes because it was a name they knew they could trust to deliver a quality home during a time of industry-wide delays and material shortages. Raj is an experienced concreter who frequently works on new housing developments, so he had witnessed Carlisle’s reliability first-hand, and felt confident that Carlisle was the best choice for his family.

The couple also had a great experience visiting Carlisle display centres and appreciated being able to walk through our display homes before making the decision to build with us.

Raj and Bhupinder worked with Jane Jackson, our Sales Consultant at Meridian Display Centre, to find the perfect home for their family of four – which was the beautiful Montpellier Grand 49 from our Affinity Collection.

This luxurious, double-storey home fits their block of land perfectly and offers all the space they wanted for their growing family. The interior ticked all their boxes, with an impressive four living areas, four big bedrooms, each with an ensuite and walk-in robe, and a dedicated study. Most importantly for the couple, it features a stunning designer kitchen where they can entertain a crowd, with a great butler’s pantry where they can prep for large family gatherings while keeping their main kitchen pristine.

For the exterior of their Montpellier Grand 49, they chose the timeless Classique façade. Inside, they opted for stylish and easy-to-clean marble-look floor tiles, chic London Grey Caesarstone benchtops, and warm Burnished Wood Laminex kitchen cabinetry, to create a classically elegant look. The couple say it was great to be able to lean on the design expertise of the consultants in the Spectra Showroom to bring their dream interior to life.

Raj and Bhupinder were impressed with how quickly their new Carlisle home went up, particularly given the horror stories about long delays they’d read and heard about across the country. Administration to construction phase took less than nine weeks, and the build took almost exactly nine months; a testament to the incredible management of their Site Supervisor, Andrew.  

Raj and Bhupinder are very grateful to the whole team at Carlisle who looked after them during their build, with each member exceeding their expectations every step of the way.  From Jane Jackson in Sales, who helped them choose their floorplan, tailor their design and ensure they started their Carlisle building journey with confidence, to the Operations Team who guided them through their colour selections appointment in the Spectra Showroom, tender, contract and through to construction, where our superstar Site Supervisor, Andrew, ensured their home came together exactly as they had dreamed and kept them updated on the process at regular intervals.

Now they’ve got the keys to their beautiful new home, they are looking forward to living closer to their sons’ schools, and getting to know their new neighbours who have also built Carlisle homes! They are excited to settle into the community and watch the emerging Smiths Lane neighbourhood grow.

This organised couple have wasted no time putting the finishing touches on their home, and have already booked in the installation of wallpaper, feature lighting, window coverings and landscaping. These post-handover jobs will soon be completed, and after that, they plan on hosting a huge housewarming celebration with over 100 guests!

Being Carlisle’s 15,000th customer is exciting for Raj, Bhupinder and the boys, and they feel very special and lucky. The family was thrilled to see their Sales Consultant, Jane, again at their milestone handover – with their youngest son particularly excited to show her his fantastic new bedroom and celebrate the moment with a slice of cake!

For Raj and Bhupinder, building with Carlisle Homes was a wonderful experience they will never forget. They plan on enjoying their fabulous home for at least the next 12 years, after which, they would happily build with Carlisle again, perhaps downsizing to a smaller design (or moving to a farmhouse!).

And they have been busy spreading the word about their positive experience – Raj has already referred three new customers to Carlisle Homes, with more to come!
