Luxury Bathrooms

by Carlisle Homes

Who would have thought there was so much to know about bathrooms and ensuites?

Once you start the new home journey, you quickly learn that your wish list will be mainly consumed with a few big-ticket items which include the kitchen, the master retreat and the ensuite; the rest pretty much just follows.

A new home means you can finally get the home of your dreams, with no compromises. No fighting for the mirror space in the bathroom, no arguments about who gets the one storage drawer, your luxury living day dreams can become reality.

We all have our favourites when it comes to ensuites from our display home range, and Danielle Taylor, Interior Design Manager shares her top 5 items that should be on your list.

The freestanding bath

Even if you’re not a fan of the long hot bath at the end of the day, you can’t deny the simplicity and timeless style of the contemporary free standing bath. It’s such a lovely feature for your ensuite, creating a feeling of clean lines and space. You will soon convert your bathing ways!

Timber features

If you’re leaning towards a Scandi theme for your interior style, you will surely include some timber décor features to really bring your look together. Timber features in the bathroom introduce a warmth to offset the cool tiling and basin ware, and can be a great way to bring in some colour.

Feature tiles

Feature tile splashbacks aren’t just for kitchen areas. In the bathroom they can create a lovely focal point and great way to add interest to a generally neutral space. Self-patterned, subway or mosaic tile collections can work well to add a unique style to your ensuite.
