Highvale Preschool was one of the recipients of a $7191 grant in the first cycle of our Community Grant program for 2016. And their sandpit rejuvenation is already underway!
The current sandpit needing upgrading with a new natural garden surrounds, large rocks and basalt paving. New play equipment for the area is also planned.
The work started in May, with many of the preschool children eagerly watching on, drawing the progress in their art time. With the help from Pumpkin Joe an awesome entrance area to the sandpit has been created. A family day will be organised to plant it up once our ordered outdoor furniture arrives!
With the help of Carlisle Homes and Pumpkin Joe, Highvale Preschool will end up with a fantastic playspace with outdoor and indoor spaces designed and organised to engage every child in quality experiences in both built and natural environments.
